Petal Necklace
Stunning fold-formed ‘fine’ silver necklace with attached sterling silver chain. Fine silver, which is 999 parts out of 1000 parts pure silver, is used as it more malleable to form than sterling silver, and also less susceptible to natural tarnishing. This is formed by folding a leaf shape and repeatedly heating (annealing) and hammering the piece until the silver moves to create a curve, then heating and opening the piece and manipulating it by hand to the desired shape. Each forming process produces slightly different results and so the final necklace may vary from the image shown, making each piece unique.
Made from recycled 999 fine silver with a sterling silver chain
